Public authorities have joined forces with businesses, chambers of commerce and scientific institutions to form the TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe GmbH.
Together we are shaping the development of the region with the aim of strengthening and promoting it as a hub for business, science and innovation. Our focus is very much on the themes of mobility, energy and IT.
The strategic network of business, scientific and public-sector partners enables projects to be initiated on a reality lab scale. The Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion acts as a platform, manages the various players and contributes towards co-funding. The results of the cooperation projects are profiled and made visible in the national and international context. In addition, the KRT also plays an active role representing the interests of the region and its players towards decision-makers at federal state, federal government, European and international levels.
